FROM THE DESK OF THE BIG E

Those of you that check in here regularly have noticed this space hasn't been updated in quite a while. For that, I apologize. The plays (and WINS!!) have rolled on, but the past weeks have been dominated by wedding planning. That's right, the Big E tied the knot last week, much to my delight! My lovely wife is a key to the Big E and I'm glad to have her on board permanently. Thankfully, the plays have thrived during this time, even with the distraction of that day. Now, happily married and worry free, I can only image how great the picks are going to be from here on out!!

LAST WEEK
We kept it simple over the honeymoon and DOMINATED the NFL, going 4-0 with 9 and 8* wins in the Ticket on the Giants and Bills and 10* wins on Sunday and Monday thanks to the NO/CAR under and the Pats! College results left a bit to be desired (1-3), but thankfully we knew to butter the bread with highly weighted NFL plays! All told, the Ticket went 3-2 for a +8.7 star WINNER while Biggies went 2-1 for a +9 star net!!

2008 marks the SIXTH season the Big E has been a featured handicapper, and the picks keep getting BIGGER every year! The last few years have been a lesson in fortitude. I've excelled in spurts, but it time to take this to the next level. I take pride in my football picks, particularly NFL plays, and I've been reading up more than a Jimmy Johnson warroom before draft day to get ready for this year's campaign!
