FROM THE DESK OF THE BIG E

Well folks, the first full week of football has come and gone and we've learned quite a bit, haven't we? In the NFL, I learned that the difference between the haves and the have-nots in the NFL is growing and the gap may be wider than its been in many years. There are some really bad teams and organizations out there right now. We also learned not to expect Tom Brady to be Tom Brady right away, but I doubt it will take long to get there. In the college ranks, we've learned OSU can still choke in any big game, that outside of Florida and Texas, "elite" is a word that can be eliminated from any team's vocabulary, and the MAC and Mountain West are making some non-BCS noise.

LAST WEEK
A very solid, 5-4 week of rated picks. GT blew an early lead to cost a cover on Thursday, but Central Michigan and Philly made up for it nicely with two DOG WINS over the weekend! The Ticket went 3-2 with a 9* win on the Vikings, an 8* win on UConn and a 4* backdoor on the Redskins! The Bills surprised on Monday night, giving us an unexpected loss. Overall, +5.7 STARS with plenty of room for improvement!

THIS WEEK
