It is worth noting that his FIP is lower this season, but so is his HR/9. Cameron has a 5.57 road ERA this season and Cincinnati features what is generally a difficult ballpark for visiting pitchers. Kansas City is a bottom 10 team in MLB in producing home runs this season, while the Royals also take walks at a low rate and Andrew Abbott is a capable left-handed option for the Reds. He hasn’t matched his success of the past two seasons so far in 2026 overall but after a tough first month he owns a 1.59 ERA in his last six starts and he threw six scoreless innings in his last home start.
