#969 Kansas City Royals (Cameron) +135 over Baltimore Orioles (Bradish) 6:05 PM CT

The Royals have been a great disappointment this season, but Kansas City has a much more respectable record vs. right-handed pitchers at 30-36 while going just 8-21 vs. left-handed starters. The Royals went hitless with runners in scoring position last night in a 5-3 defeat but in the past 10 games Kansas City has hit .282 with 6.2 runs per nine vs. right-handed pitching. Kyle Bradish looked like he would be the centerpiece of the Baltimore rotation for years to come after a great 2023 season. Injuries cost him most of the past two seasons and he hasn’t been the same pitcher so far in 2026. His walk rate is extremely high, and he has mostly average numbers with a 4.12 FIP, while he had a 4.55 ERA in June and he has allowed three or more runs in four of his last six starts. Bradish allowed 10 hits in an April start against the Royals, and the Orioles are only 4-8 in the past 12 home games. Baltimore is just 11-17 vs. left-handed starters this season and in the past 10 games Baltimore is batting .237 with just 3.6 runs per nine vs. southpaws. Noah Cameron has a 4.77 ERA this season, but his FIP is just 3.81, and he has been a stronger pitcher in his road innings this season. In eight of his last 11 starts Cameron has allowed three or fewer runs as he has been a solid option for the Royals since returning from a short early season IL trip. Despite a terrible season road record, the Royals are near .500 at 10-11 in road games since June 1st and the bullpen for Kansas City has stronger recent splits than Baltimore with the Orioles sporting a 5.84 ERA in the past 10 games from relievers.
