#619/620 UNDER 181.5 Indiana Fever at Las Vegas Aces 8:00 PM CT
The Fever and Aces posted 188 and 187 in the first two games of this series but a winner-take-all Game 3 could provide a boost in intensity and defense. The second half of Game 1 featured quarters of 42 and 36 for a much slower pace than the rest of the series and that was with Las Vegas playing with a lead at home, which is the more probable scenario in this game. The Aces shot 59 percent in that game while Indiana came back and shot 52 percent in Game 2. There were also a combined 68 free throw attempts in Game 2 to help push the overall scoring pace. These are the top two shooting teams in the WNBA but typically elimination games warrant a downgrade in the total, which hasn’t been the case Thursday with this figure mirroring the Game 1 over/under number in Las Vegas. Indiana is unlikely to shoot as quite as well back on the road and if either team gets a substantial lead, slowing the game down will be a priority. After two higher-scoring games to start this series, the ‘under’ has promise Thursday night in this high-profile playoff Game 3.
