The Twins are on an 11-0 run to climb back into American League contention but six wins on that streak came against the struggling Orioles who have been the league’s biggest disappointment. Minnesota played a double-header Wednesday and played yesterday as well as the bullpen that has been excellent on the winning streak will be facing some strain to start this interleague rivalry series. Milwaukee won three of four with the Twins last season and despite being below .500 to start 2025, Milwaukee owns an excellent 12-7 record at American Family Field. Rookie Chad Patrick has been a bright spot for the Brewers with a 3.19 ERA and a 3.69 FIP in over 42 innings of work, including a 2.38 ERA at home. The Brewers are a slightly better scoring team compared with the Twins for the season and vs. right-handed pitching. Milwaukee has 13 wins vs. winning teams this season compared to just nine for Minnesota and Milwaukee had an off-day Thursday and received at least five innings from all its starters in the last series to leave the bullpen in good shape for this series. The Twins have only won three road series this season and one of those series wins was vs. the White Sox. On the season Minnesota had hit just .225 in road games with 3.6 runs per nine. Joe Ryan is having a good start to his 2025 season, but he won’t be able to keep up an over 87 percent strand rate and a .243 BABIP while his career road ERA is 4.05.
