Northern Kentucky has been off the past week following an overtime home loss to Robert Morris last Saturday. That loss dropped the Norse to 14-7 overall and 6-4 in Horizon play. Wright State is the current conference leader in the Horizon at 7-2 but the Raiders have enjoyed some breaks in the early season path. Wright State will enter this game off a home loss, falling to Cleveland State on Wednesday but the loss seemed overdue as the Raiders had won seven games in a row with six of those wins by 10 or fewer points including a couple extremely narrow escapes. Wright State has some of the better statistics in the Horizon League, but they have faced the 9th ranked conference schedule at this point. Home court has not meant a lot in the Horizon schedule so far with only 30 of 55 hosts winning S/U and Northern Kentucky has four true road wins already this season. These teams have rather similar profiles statistically but Northern Kentucky projects to have a turnover edge and while the Norse are appealing as an underdog, having won in Dayton last season, while going 3-1 ATS in the past four meetings.
