#817 North Dakota State +4 over St. Thomas 8:00 PM CT
North Dakota State is 23-6 this season including 13-1 in Summit League play as the regular season conference title is already clinched. St. Thomas is in second place at 10-4, on pace to finish second in the standings for the second straight season. These teams are the top two offenses and defenses in the Summit League numbers, and the first meeting was a great game in Fargo with North Dakota State winning 68-65. Even at home the Bison shot worse in almost every category but still won thanks in part to great rebounding results and that should again be a substantial matchup advantage for the Bison. Both teams are excellent 3-point shooting teams at a high volume to provide some potential variance in this game, but St. Thomas has been the worst free throw shooting team in the conference and North Dakota State is excellent at creating turnovers as the Tommies are more likely to have empty possessions in this pairing. The stakes aren’t overwhelming on either side, though St. Thomas is still playing for second place in the Summit League, but this is an opportunity for North Dakota State to sweep the season series for the first time since 2021-22 while the Bison are 6-1 ATS in league road games. St. Thomas has fallen short of expectations all season and is 2-5 ATS in the past seven home games and this line has been adjusted perhaps too far for the letdown risk after North Dakota State confirmed the outright regular season title.
