Nelly’s went 3-0 in MLB yesterday to sweep our 2/3 offer!
Play with Nelly’s for a side play winner Sunday in daytime action:
#901/902 UNDER 7 Miami Marlins (Meyer) at Pittsburgh Pirates (Skenes) 11:15 AM CT
Max Meyer and Paul Skenes are likely to be teammates in a month as NL All Stars. Both are capable of dominant outings and the rubber match with this series 1-1 should be a pitching duel, even with a bit of wind pushing to left field. A rain delay is possible, but this is a Pirates team that has been held to three or fewer runs in six of the past eight games while Miami pitching has allowed three or fewer runs eight times in the past 10 games. The Marlins have featured one of the better bullpens in MLB this season and while Pittsburgh has had less late inning success for the season, Skenes has great home numbers and should be in line for a quality start. Skenes hasn’t been his very best in recent weeks but still owns nine different outings this season with one or fewer earned run allowed. Meyer has 10 starts this season with two or fewer earned runs allowed this season. The ‘under’ is 8-2 min the past 10 Marlins games and while there were plenty of runners on base yesterday, the game wound up just 3-2 for Pittsburgh with only two combined hits with runners in scoring position Saturday. On a getaway Sunday with Pittsburgh heading west and Miami heading east, this early start game could be an efficient game between two of the NL’s top starters.
