#511 Detroit Pistons -1 over Philadelphia 76ers 6:40 PM CT

The new look 76ers are 3-0 but this is now a third game in four days after a win hosting Milwaukee last night. It was a tie game late in the third quarter as Philadelphia played four starters at least 30 minutes in a game LeBron James sat out. Detroit hasn’t had a postseason breakthrough but this was the Eastern Conference leader with 60 wins last season despite eventually being overshadowed by the Knicks and now the 76ers in the Eastern Conference spotlight. Detroit is 2-0 and had a day off yesterday for a scheduling edge. Jalen Duran is out while Ausar Thompson is a question mark but Detroit has good depth and should again be one of the top defensive teams in the league. This early in the season the scheduling demands can matter especially for a team in a major roster transition like Philadelphia.
