#927/928 OVER 10.5 Seattle Mariners (Woo) at Colorado Rockies (Hughes) 7:10 PM CT

It isn’t clear what the pitching plan for the Rockies will be Friday but the impact of whatever decision is made from a group with a 5.62 season ERA won’t be significant. Gabriel Hughes is a possibility to start with a 6.37 ERA and an 0-8 record in decisions. The Colorado bullpen has a 1.70 WHIP in the past 10 games and there has been at least 11 runs scored in all four games so far on the current home stand. Seattle is in a third city on its road trip as an incredibly disappointing season winds down. The Mariners have been a solid ‘over’ team this season with the ‘over’ 80-66-7 and Bryan Woo has not pitched well in his road innings. Woo has a 2.36 ERA in Seattle but a 5.23 ERA on the road where he has allowed twice as many home runs. Woo has pitched well in his last three starts overall but he has never pitched at the notoriously difficult pitching ballpark Coors Field. In the past five games Seattle is batting .310 while the Rockies are batting .287 vs. right-handed pitching as both lineups are still capable. A possible rain delay could disrupt the starting efforts as well as the ‘over’ seems likely in this interleague pairing.
