Nelly’s Baseball is off to a nice start in 2026 MLB – looking to match a huge April in 2025 baseball.

#917 Arizona Diamondbacks (Nelson) +115 over Baltimore Orioles (Kremer/Undecided) 5:35 PM CT

Arizona started the season 0-3 but plenty of teams will get swept at Dodger Stadium this season. The Diamondbacks are 9-4 since after winning both series last week in a tough NL East road trip in New York and Philadelphia. Arizona has scored at least three runs in seven straight games and the season scoring results are underestimated with a 17-2 blowout loss weighing on the numbers in a 16-game sample. Ryne Nelson was a consistent option for Arizona on the mound last season, and he has allowed just seven earned runs and 10 hits over 15 innings this season even while facing potentially three of the best offensive teams in the NL. Baltimore hasn’t announced a starting pitcher yet for Monday and the bullpen had a fairly heavy workload over the weekend in winning two games against the Giants after losing the series opener Friday. Baltimore is 8-7 but they are 7-2 vs. the Twins, White Sox, and Giants for a favorable early season schedule. Arizona’s bullpen has a 0.70 WHIP with a 0.57 ERA in the past five games for great recent returns while in nine home games the Orioles are batting just .230 with 3.2 runs per nine. Dean Kremer could be an option to make his first start of the season for Baltimore tonight after two AAA starts but he was shelled against Arizona last April, allowing six runs, as this could be a preferable draw for Arizona Monday, even playing across the country in a third straight road series.
