Nelly’s and Bobby Dalton both had strong first weeks in 2026 MLB!
Check out tonight’s picks:
#954 Miami Marlins (Junk) -130 over Cincinnati Reds (Williamson) 5:40 PM CT
The Marlins have the early lead in the NL East and own a 5-1 record at home. The home schedule has been favorable so far but winning on Sunday to avoid being swept at Yankee Stadium was a positive result for the Marlins. Miami is expected to have quality pitching this season, but the Marlins have hit .277 with 5.8 runs per nine so far this season in contrast to the Reds batting .210 with 2.9 runs per nine, even though the Reds are also 6-3. Cincinnati swept Texas over the weekend and all six wins this season for the Reds have come by two runs or one run as the Reds have had some good fortune in close games. Brandon Williamson had 136 career innings under his belt and owns just a 7.5 K/9 while being a consistent home run risk with a nearly 1.7 HR/9. Williamson allowed six runs including three home runs in his first start of the 2026 season. Janson Junk had a solid 2025 season in his first significant MLB season, pitching 110 innings. He has a similar ERA one start into 2026, and he had five strikeouts in his 2026 debut. Both bullpens have good numbers in the early season sample, but the Marlins could have a higher ceiling over time with a 10.0 K/9 so far from its relievers with opposing batters hitting .149 against the Miami bullpen so far this season. Miami has far better splits so far this season vs. left-handed pitching than Cincinnati has against right-handed pitching and the small favorite price is justified for the Marlins tonight.
