#566 Minnesota Timberwolves -8.5 over Philadelphia 76ers 6:10 PM CT

The Wolves won hosting Dallas out of the All-Star Break to make it an 8-3 S/U run since late January. The Western Conference standings are crowded, with Minnesota currently sixth but in a virtual tie with the Rockets and Lakers for the #4 and #5 positions. Minnesota is 20-10 S/U at home, and the Wolves have won convincingly in the past two meetings hosting the 76ers. Philadelphia has lost four games in a row, including back-to-back defeats by double-digits out of the All-Star Break. This is now a third game in four days for the 76ers following a road loss in New Orleans Saturday with 126 points allowed. That was a competitive game most of the time, as most starters had significant playing time for a team that is still managing the workload from Joel Embiid. The 76ers have a great record as a road favorite this season but have been less successful in the underdog role. The 76ers have played one of the 10 weakest schedules in the NBA this season and are just 5-11 S/U vs. top 10 teams. After back-to-back trips to the Western Conference Finals, Minnesota is a team that can rise in the coming months to emerge as a threat again, currently holding the third best scoring differential in the West even while sixth in the standings.
