Oregon has endured a miserable season for a shocking result given Dana Altman’s consistent track record of success. The Ducks have shown some punch late in the season however with a 3-2 run in the past five games and a road loss at Northwestern Saturday came by just one-point. There is great size on the roster and the Oregon defense has been capable this season. Illinois had a season-making opportunity on Friday and came up well short vs. Michigan with a humbling effort. The Illini have had almost exclusively close losses this season but with defeats in four of the past six including two home losses, Illinois is now in fourth in the Big Ten standings.
