The Lakers took an ugly loss vs. the Clippers on Saturday, managing a season low 88 points. Los Angeles is 19-8 S/U and 15-12 ATS this season including 10-6 ATS on the road and 8-4 ATS as an underdog. The Lakers are also 7-0 ATS this season following a S/U loss. These teams have met twice already in December with a split as the road team has been victorious in both games including the Lakers winning in Phoenix on December 14. Los Angeles will host Houston on Christmas Day while the Suns have a break after this game before playing Friday in New Orleans. The roster situation for the Lakers has caused this line adjustment with Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, and Rui Hachimura all expected to miss this game but Phoenix is shorthanded as well with Grayson Allen still out. The Suns have just one win by more than three points in the past nine games regardless of competition and Phoenix has five S/U home losses this season. The Lakers can still offer a competitive performance tonight.
