The Giants have just 12 wins this season vs. left-handed starters and while Shan Drohan isn’t overly accomplished, he has a 3.01 FIP in 82 MLB innings this season with a 9.0 K/9. Drohan has good road splits, and this is a favorable pitching ballpark and a Giants lineup that has averaged 3.6 runs per nine vs. left-handers this season, while over the past 10 games the Giants are batting .116 with 0.7 runs per nine vs. southpaw pitching. The Milwaukee bullpen has excellent recent splits and while five pitchers threw for Milwaukee last night, the Brewers only used two pitchers on Monday as all options should be available Wednesday afternoon. Logan Webb commands attention on the mound for the Giants but he is on pace for his worst season since the abbreviated 2020 campaign and the dominant home splits that have made up his career track record haven’t been present this season. Milwaukee has hit .294 with 6.3 runs per nine vs. right-handers in the past 10 games and the Brewers are 31-20 on the road this season.
