#463/464 OVER 46 Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers 3:25 PM CT

Jordan Love and the Green Bay offense has scored at least 20 points in seven straight games with a 5-2 run that has the Packers surprisingly in control of their playoff fate hosting Chicago in Week 18. In Game 1 this season the Packers put up 38 points on the Bears and while Chicago improved dramatically in the second half of the season, the Green Bay offense has also improved since that time as well. Love has 18 touchdowns and one interception in the past seven games while only being sacked 10 times as the offensive line has impressed. The Packers are expecting to have Christian Watson back at least in a limited role this week while Aaron Jones and Jayden Reed had an impact in returning in last week’s win over Minnesota. The Green Bay defense still has raised significant red flags and playing the first half against rookie Jaren Hall hid some of those challenges. Even with a strong performance last week, the Packers have allowed 6.0 yards per play the past three games. The Panthers scored 30 points on the Packers two weeks ago and Green Bay has allowed a 114.6 QB Rating in the past three games facing Baker Mayfield, Bryce Young, and the Vikings duo of Hall and Nick Mullens. Chicago has scored 26 or more points four times in the past six games and the Bears have scored only 15 fewer points than the Packers on the season. While Chicago can’t make the playoffs, a chance to end Green Bay’s season will be alluring and Justin Fields and company are still playing to be a part of this team moving forward with the Bears heading towards an intriguing series of off-season decisions. Fields to his credit has been excellent since his return from injury both in the passing game and on the ground. The ‘over’ has hit in five of the past seven while 13-8 since 2013 in this series with the Packers scoring at least 24 points in each of the past seven games vs. Chicago. For January in Green Bay the weather looks decent in the mid-30s and relatively calm and Chicago should be expected to make the Packers earn their playoff spot in a potentially higher scoring game.
