The Jaguars won S/U and ATS in both meetings last season even while posting only 30 combined points. Jacksonville has gone 5-1 S/U and 4-2 ATS in the past six meetings but historically the Jaguars are just 7-19 S/U in Nashville since 1999 as this has been tough trip for the franchise most seasons. While attention in the AFC South will be on the Colts/Texans game this week, Jacksonville at 7-4 but with a far worse scoring differential, remains squarely in that race. The Jaguars are facing a second straight road game and fourth road game in five weeks for a demanding set-up and a massive division game with the Colts is on deck for Jacksonville. Tennessee is a 1-10 team and last week’s cover came with a late backdoor score, but the Titans have competed much better in the past seven games than in the first four games of the season. Cam Ward’s best two QBR games were his last two games, even while facing tough Houston and Seattle defenses as while it has taken some time, he is starting to look like the player the Titans hoped to get when drafting him at #1 last spring. The Titans are 3-0 ATS in November games as a home underdog and Tennessee is catching another nice underdog number in Week 13. The Jaguars are on a 1-4 ATS run n the past five games as a road favorite with an average of more than 29 points per game allowed and the only win coming in last week’s overtime result for a very fortunate narrow road favorite cover. Trevor Lawrence ranks 25th in the NFL in QBR and 31st in QB Rating as despite his experience he hasn’t significantly outperformed Ward’s rookie numbers while has five interceptions in his past three road games. Jacksonville has two overtime wins and five one-score wins while the past three games for the Titans have all been one-score losses to teams that grade better than Jacksonville.
